Private Barcelona Old City Tour

Private Old City Tour

Explore Barcelona through the streets where the city began.

Tour Details

No trip to Barcelona is complete without a visit to the Gothic Quarter. This tour centers on the surrounding Old City, where we can trace Barcelona’s story from its Roman foundations through its development as a medieval city, while also looking more closely at what the Gothic Quarter really is and what gives it its character today. As we walk, we’ll visit some of the most important parts of the historic center, including Plaça de Sant Jaume, the Cathedral area, the Roman Walls, and other corners of the Old City that help bring the story of Barcelona into focus. Through history, legends, and the kinds of stories that make a place feel real, the goal is not just to show you the city, but to help it make sense. It’s a relaxed experience designed to give you a stronger understanding of Barcelona while still leaving room to enjoy the atmosphere of the city around you. Because the tour is private, the route can be adjusted to fit your interests, pace, and the kind of experience you want to have.

Reviews

Patrick is a knowlegable, informative & fun guide with a personality as vibrant as Barcelona. I was fortunate to be asssigned to his morning walk of the old City & enjoyed his presentation so much that I immediately signed up for his afternoon Gaudi tour afterwards which I found even more enthralling. Patrick's knowledge & presentation style were 1st class & I have no hesitation in recommending both him & his walking tours. This was my 1st of 4 days that I have to explore Barcelona & I suspect it will be my favorite. Certainly a day well spent. Patrick made Barcelona's history come alive for me. Thanks Patrick.
Trip Advisor Review
Patrick connects Barcelona with its roots, giving you a full view of how the city’s past connects with its present...and then follows that up with recommendations to the best food in the city! If you’re in Barcelona, THIS is the guy you want showing you around. We’ll be doing his tours again until we’ve exhausted them

After being on many tours in numerous parts of the world, Patrick was by far one of the most enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate tour guides I’ve ever met. We were able to spend roughly three hours with him today touring the Gothic quarter of Barcelona and it was phenomenal. At the end of the tour he was able to provide us with recommendations and even a google document for future trips. 15/10 would recommend and will be booking with him for future trips in Barcelona
