Barcelona really is two separate cities. Want to explore both? We'll start in the Gothic Quarter, where the city was founded, to explore the Roman ruins and Medieval part of the city. Next, we'll turn our attention to the Eixample district and Barcelona's Modernist architecture and legacy. Here we'll see the city's expansion and focus on some of Gaudí's most famous houses and finish outside of the Sagrada Familia. The Barcelona Highlights tour will give you the perfect introduction to the city and set you on your way to make the most of your time in Barcelona. With a private tour we can adjust the route to what you want to do, stopping where necessary! I recommend booking ahead and visiting the Sagrada Familia after a short break following our time together.

Patrick is an excellent and very knowledgeable tour guide. We booked two private tours with Patrick - old city / Gothic quarter and Gaudi architecture tour for the family of four. Both tours were very interesting. Each lasted 3 hours, but you don’t even notice the time. Patrick is a great history and story teller and his stories appealed to all ages in our family, ranging from 17 to 53. He is very personable and ready to adjust the tour to your needs. I communicated to Patrick via email to book the tours and make changes and he is very prompt to respond and very accommodating. We reached out to Patrick based on his YouTube content which is the most current we found for Barcelona. We did the Gaudi tour, but the information on Barcelona ranged well beyond Gaudi and associated architects of the period. The detail on the Sagrada Familia exterior supported a great interior tour.
