What to do in Barcelona this September 2020. September is the best month to be in Barcelona. The weather is at it’s best and some of the best activities and festivals have arrived. While it is the end of the summer, the La Mercè festivals offer a final time of gathering for the city. This year, special safety measures have been implemented to keep the celebrations going and safe, while providing virtual access as well. Apart from La Mercè there will be Open Doors at the Sagrada Familia, Barcelona’s Gallery Weekend, Catalan Book Week, and La Diada de Catalunya (the Day of Catalonia).
